My love for Yorkshire terriers started when I was asked if I would take on a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier called “Tara” whose owner was going to work abroad over 20 years ago.

This was the start of where I am now.

A couple of years later I got a new puppy, a male called Bobby, then 6 months later a female puppy called Rosie and they were my first breeding pair.

My daughter also bought another female puppy called Ruby which she also bred with Bobby. The demand for these small dogs was exceptional and many of the puppies new owners still stay in touch with me years later.

A few years later my husband and I emigrated to Cyprus and brought 5 Yorkshire Terriers with us.

Demand for puppies was the same as in the UK, however I have diversified and now breed Biewer Yorkshire Terriers whose bloodline comes from Germany. These dogs are currently not so well known as standard colour Black and Tan Yorkshire Terriers, however they do have the same DNA the colour difference having occurred due to a recessive gene in the breed

Having now been in Cyprus for 15 years, my puppies are now all over the island with many of the buyers coming back time and time again for new puppies.
